Stocking Guide
A data-driven recommendation of which vehicles a dealer should acquire based on local market demand.
Definition
A stocking guide is a report or tool that analyzes local market sales data, search trends, and current supply to recommend which vehicle types (year, make, model, trim) a dealer should prioritize acquiring. By aligning inventory with what local shoppers are actively searching for, dealers improve turn rate and reduce aged stock. From an advertising perspective, vehicles that match local demand also perform better in ad campaigns because they align with in-market shopper intent.
